UsVox Rebrand
Corporate Branding
2025
CHALLENGE
Craft a fresh new visual identity for UsVox that will position it as a modern, reliable player in the complex world of telecommunications.
Research & Sketches
UsVox offers phone-based communications solutions for small-sized and medium-sized businesses, with a clientele that spans from the South Florida area to the rest of the globe. Their services include hosted internet PBX, mobile extensions, phone numbers (DIDs), SIP trunking, and many others. Over the years, UsVox has expanded their clientele as well as the services they offer, and they have gained a reputation among their clients as a reliable, accessible, and helpful communications provider.

My rebrand aimed to give UsVox a bold, fresh, modern look that accentuated their professionalism and highlighted their straightforward and effective communication services. Through direct talks with them, I was able to not only learn what I needed to know about the company, but also nail down the specific tone and personality they desired for their brand. I explored a multitude of directions for the new logo and presented them to UsVox in rounds, until I arrived at the solution they loved the most.

Final Logo
The logo features two signals, or voices, interlocking with each other in a visually literal manner.  This reinforces the brand's overall theme of "connections" and clearly illustrates the company's mission: to connect voices, people, and ideas with each other.
Rive Animation
The client was interested in incorporating an animated version of the logo into their website in the future (I did not design a website for them). They wanted an interactive animation that could be clicked on in order to trigger the logo's motion. Having just used Rive for other projects beforehand, I figured it was the perfect solution for this unique request.

I mimicked the logo's animation from the end of the pitch video (shown at the top of this page) within Rive, on top of also creating a "disappear" phase for the loop to occur upon clicking. A slight scale up and scale down animation was created to trigger when the logo is hovered, to indicate that it is interactable. Finally, I set up all these animations in Rive's State Machine to make it truly interactive.

This isn't my first time using Rive, and it absolutely won't be the last. I love the possibilities this software offers, whether it's for smaller deliverables like this one, or larger interactive experiences. Try interacting with the Rive file below!
